Low Starting Stats?

FO3 already handled that (mostly) just fine. Almost Perfect perk + bobbleheads = 10 in every SPECIAL

Want more balanced SPECIAL ? Don't pick that perk.

There was the "issue" of having to dump extra skill points into stuff you didn't use, but skills are apparently gone now so that's fixed anyway. But less SPECIAL points to start with svcks cause you have [censored] stats until they get upgraded later (which better happen *sharpens knife*)

Certainly a civilian happily married couple with a new borne baby is not going to be in military fighting trim.

The Sole Survivor likely used the GI Bill and has been in school or flying a desk in some office building for a least a couple of years.

The Cryo Chamber is likely the best sleep the Sole Survivor has had in months (or years depending on how you look at it).

So it makes sense surviving in the Boston Wasteland for a couple of months if it didn't kill you would make you stronger, faster, more perceptive, and have better stamina.

They are starting us low so we have some place to go.

Starting low is fine, I never said I wanted to have perfect stats from the get go. I'd rather have higher initial stats anyway but maybe you get less points because they rebalanced how they work so eh

They have to have rebalanced it.

Everyone will be starting with those stats.

Did you see the stats during the presentation?

I've seen two different Sole Survivors.

Two stats at 8 and a 10 and the rest between 1 to 3.
