I placed a Pre-Order with Target.com and received an order confirmation. Did they really receive Stock for this item or did I just get svcked by Big Red?

Did you email them to confirm your confirmation so that you could confirm whether or not the confirmation was real or just made up?

Just got off the phone with Target again and they garunteed me it is a legit Pre-Order and Confirmation...But I figured someone here could truly confirm if Target was actually Stocked for the Pre-order Item by Betesda like Amazon, Gamestop, and Bestbuy.

It would be considered fraud if they didn't.

So it would be safe to assume they're telling the truth.

Mind, no store has any of the stock yet, the game isn't even finished.

Well, unless one of us works in Target Plaza South in Minneapolis, it is unlikely any of us know more than the people you talked to on the phone.

I guess I'll find out in November...but damn thats a long time to wait...Thanx for the reply...

Not to add any undue paranoia, but I preordered a Majora's Mask 3DSXL from Target, only to have them cancel it on me a week before the system shipped. Thank God I was able to get one elsewhere without having to go through scalpers.

I just called 4 different EB Games YARMOUTH MALL PH: 902-742-0168 - DEVONSHIRE MALL PH: 519-250-3185 - SMARTCENTRE CRANBROOK PH: 250-417-0266 - THE BAY CENTRE VICTORIA PH: 250-381-9052. All 4 advised me that you could not walk in and buy this Pre-order out right as it was online only and the only way to truly turnoff the amount available was thru the EB website. This explains why you are so upset Tyranthraxus...In a previous post you stated that you paid $180 upfront in full at your friends EB Store...How exactly was that possible based on the information provided?...lol...I call and smell Bullsh*t...

You can put the $5 minimum down online, ask for shipping to deliver it for in-store pickup for release, and walk into the store and hand them the cash for the rest of the pre-order on or before release...
