DLCMod I would like for consoles

Post » Fri Nov 27, 2015 3:48 pm

I would like for there to be some sort of Cheat mod/DLC for us without a command line. just a simple one, like Max stats and a few common item spawns. like an extra tab in the pip-boy.

Just thought since my pc is pants and i will have to buy it on the PS4. I like to play the game a few times before i put on cheats so I can explore it at my leisure with out missing anything.

Thoughts?

My honest thought on this:

No DLC would give us this, but a mod may do.

I'm sure their will be a near limitless supply of cheat mods that you can download, provided Sony ever confirms mods for their console.

Easy solution: give the console editor to all 3 platforms. It would not be that difficult. I am not sure about X1 but it is definitely doable without a keyboard on PS4. Hell both platforms accept a keyboard anyhow. I want it for quest and item bug fixes myself. I love Bethesda games but the little [censored] drives me up the wall sometimes. Console editor could take care of most of it.

If it isn't in the base game, Deathclaw Companion. After reading up on Goris it's something I really want.

Huh, I haven't heard this. I saw the news that Bethesda was working on getting mods on the PS4, but I didn't know they succeeded. Do you have a link?

I just want Quest, clothing, textures, building, and gun mods. I don't really care about cheating unless it was a having more companions mod.

I want a Scotty mod... to be placed in my garage and every time I walk in he'll say "This jurry-rigging won't last for long!" And during long fights in Power Armor, you'll hear over the radio "I've giv'n her all she's got captain, an' I canna give her no more!"

I was watching Star-Trek, the original generation.

I'd be fine with just some alt textures (like PA from other franchises and stuff) and cheats.

yeah thats never gonna happen on console they already headed ppl off at the pass on that one. ill repeat NO mods with assets/ip from other sources example no warhammer 40k mods for fallout 4 or playing as the terminator etc etc

still free to do what you want and suffer cons on pc thou

I could do with close enough expies of them. Plenty of games do that without getting trouble. Like say, speaking of 40k, the Warsworn in Kingdoms of Amalur and the Cabal in Destiny are obviously space marine stand-ins. Same for the Terminator, any generic "cyborg" texture is basically it. Or you can just dress similar and pretend to be one.

I don't think even "knock off" stuff is going to fly on a open market like the consoles. Disney may let PC owners get away with Iron Man Power Armors...but I doubt Microsoft and Sony will be allowed the same freedom.

No, it's not that easy because the editor requires more RAM to run than the game itself does.

i think part of reason is pc modding is still smaller percent of the player base compared to what we know of the sales lets say skyrim

20+ million copys as of June 2013 the highest Unique D/Ls we have data for is 7,707,426 Unique D/Ls for Skyrim HD

most mods that have copyright issues get way fewer downloads than that.

its all gonna change with fallout 4 thou because way more demand for mods.

atleast i have believe something along lines for Disney and others have not been trying get stuff taken down on nexus.

It's highly doubtful the console will be added to the consoles (that phrase never gets less weird) modding system but since basic gameplay mods should be some of the easiest mods for the 2 consoles to run with basically zero performance impact, I'm sure there will be a million and one stat tweak or even out and out "cheat" mods available very soon after the GECK comes out. Perhaps even sooner if we have a repeat of the TESSnip incident or a Fallout4Edit gets stood up relatively quickly.

The console wars left me with just a PC to rely on, but for Consoles...y'all need proper cheats. Like Big Head mode, Giant Weapons Mode, stuff like that. Pointless cheats just for fun.

I think it would pass, because the exemples I gave from actual released games have them. Getting a perfectly modeled copy of space marine armor might not fly but having normal PA colored blue with gold rimming probably would cause then you have plausible deniability.

"It's not an ultramarine copy, I just happen to like gold rimmed blue armor"

well GW has copyrighted all their colors so if you whent around saying the armour you created was colored ultramarines blueTM then yeah you get in trouble

but the way you said it would work very well.

you could even use ultramarines symbol just the greek omega symbol.
