I had this issue and I fixed it!

Make sure Fallout4.exe and FalloutLauncher.exe are running in compatibility mode Windows 7!

1. Search for regedit

2. Go to HKEY_Local_Machine (and click on it)

3. Once in the HKEY folder, find SYSTEM and click on it

4. Once in the SYSTEM folder and find CurrentControlSet

5. Find Control in that folder

6. Find GraphicsDrivers in the Control folder.

7. Right click on the white box

8. Go to New

9. Go to DWORD (32-bit) value

10. *IMPORTANT* name the file TdrLevel <- name it differently it won't work

11. Right Click TdrLevel and go to Modify

12. Make sure the value is 0 and the base is hexadecimal

13. Restart your PC

14. Done!

I just tried this. The game did the same thing it did before-->Launcher opens, click start, game window opens with a black screen, 5 secs later game crahes, no error code.
