Will mesmetron make a return?

And you can put your worst enemies as your slaves in your settlement?

I hope so. I've been playing Fallout 3 while I wait for Fallout 4 to come out, and the Mesmetron still makes me smile.

Hopefully we can enslave more than 4 people.

Yeah I wouldn't mind seeing it return. I like unique stuff like that.

Totally loved that thing. One of my favorite unique weapons.

I would like to role-play a slaver some day, but not like it was implemented in Fallout 3, so no, i do not want a magic device that shoots mind control rays.

Some kind of mind suppressing drugs however or good old beating into submission...yeah i would like that.

I'd much rather have tranquilizers or the ability to knock people out.

Voted "what's that?" :)

Based on comments in the thread, I gather it's something you get from the slavers in Paradise Falls? That would explain why I'm unfamiliar, as I've always shot-on-sight all Slavers. Wouldn't know if there's any dialogue, companions, sidequests, etc, from them. Never had the chance to find out.

(Kind of like I've never done the Dark Brotherhood quests in Oblivion.... the few times Lucien Lachance even spawned, I kill him before he exits my bedroom. He's a badguy, after all.)

Yes, and the ability to enslave as many as I want. I need some way to stock my Den of Decadence.

Voted yes.
Although I only used it in 3 to turn all the raiders at Evergreen Mills non hostile. Loved to live there with my new friends.

But now we have settlements for that.

If slaves aren't ingame I will add them back. Can't play Fallout without them :) . I would like something like the limited functions we had in FO3 atleast. It spares me a lot of work on searching for fitting slave dialoge. So I voted yes. :fallout:

When I read the title, I got it confused with the Microwave Emitter from Point Lookout, my favorite weapon ever.

I used to yell "APPLY IT DIRECTLY TO THE FOREHEAD" and run right up on people and make their heads pop.
