I had some sick idiot on the Destiny forums ruin the ending(s) for me, but he added that Dogmeat dies in the end, or endings. Can someone just confirm this for me? It may be trivial or meaningless to some, but I've got major trauma issues when it comes to pets, and I'd rather know ahead of time since I'm spending so much time in this world. I'm aware companions don't die in battle, and it seems illogical that Bethesda would script such a thing into a game where companions are immortal, but I'm wondering if the conclusion(s) are different. Thanks in advance, I really appreciate it.

I don't think he dies. The game continues at the end (At least the couple I've done) and it would be mechanically impractical to murder ANY of your companions, really.
