Truly I find this bizarre.

Fallout 4 on Amazon UK for XB1 : ￡42.85

Fallout 4 on Xbox One Digital DL: ￡59.99

I prefer the digital download because I can access the game from midnight

and don't need to wait for the mail.

But for the digital copy to be 40% more expensive than the box copy is just weird...

Is it this way in other countries?

It's the same with all digital content, bizarrely.

Common practise regardless of country or platform. Physical copies still tend to be cheaper than digital purchases, even though it's against common sense.

Digital purchases have minimal amount of middlemen and zero material costs, why are they still more expensive?
