Hi all,

I'm trying to find this out without getting spoilt for anything!

I've done very little with the main quest but have done quite a few of the minute men ones, it's always go talk to settlers, kill whatevers harassing them, report back and repeat.

I've heard there is an end mission for them that ends in a castle with a nice payout? Just wondering how long I have to keep at it before reaching that point? Is it guarenteed after a certain one of their quests?

(Also I finally got enough caps to buy The Old Fashion weapon, it's awesome!)

It depends, are you taking Preston with you?

The Castle mission is based on his Adoration.

Also, the missions are GREAT ways to build up adoration with good-aligned companions (Curie, Piper, Preston)

Sorry I'm not at home right now to check who Preston is, is he the black guy? The leader before he makes you general? And I can take him with me???

Yes, that's Preston. And yes, he will eventually become a follower.

I think I got it after getting three settlements to join the Minutement (two by retaking them from hostiles, on by helping out settlers already there.)

You then get the Castle as a new Settlement and, after another related quest, open the armory for a nice supply of weapons.
