I always laugh when someone complains about a movie they have not even SEEN! Seriously? what makes you think anyone cares that you critic a movie based off the few clips you saw on tv? I commend you sir, you could run for politics.

It was a great movie, truly one of the few that goes beyond and forward from the first mad max, leaves you itching for a fast car and a gang of warboys to raid with.....

Dogmeat and in particular - the fallout leather armor - are both directly inspired by Mad Max.

Edit: Mad Max's influence on fallout was already old news in year 2000 btw.

Edit2: Mad max also has the top ingame easter-eggs and references in FO.

I always finish movies no matter how bad they are. The only 2 exceptions I can remember were Starship Troopers 2 and ghost lake.

Anyway, I think Fury warrior was awesome for what it was intended as - an adrenaline filled post-apocalyptic action movie. Complaining about lack of story in an action movie is as stupid as complaining about lack of horror elements in a romantic comedy. Fury warrior was a fantastic movie for what it aimed to be. As for a strong female lead - dunno why people care or make a big deal out of it. Didnt think about it before I saw some internet comments about it Its like my RL friend which said "American sniper svcked because of all the US patriotism and propaganda", I'm like: "But other than that?", he replies "Oh other than that the movie was awesome!" /facepalm. People are too sensitive and care too much about stuff like feminism or patriotic undertones etc.

Oh jeez, Mad Max is as much a character in Fury Road as he is in most of the older movies. Certain online communities I won't name raised a huge stink about it because the director invited a feminist playwright on the set, but she was brought on to advise the actresses on how to portray [censored] victims and battered women. It's not "feminist propaganda" for having badass women.

And it's no secret that Fallout has always been heavily influenced by Mad Max, so we're not really just arbitrarily projecting Fury Road onto Fallout 4.

Yup. Max pretty much drives (no pun intended) the plot forward. He is an unstoppable force that changes the outcome of every character whether they like it or not. Just like the last two in the series.
