Fallout 4 pc shutdown randomly

Post » Fri Nov 27, 2015 9:26 pm

Here is my problem:

Sometimes immediatly, sometimes after 1-2 hours, the computer randomly shutsdown and re start immediatly.

This happends just with fallout 4, i've played the witcher without problems and a lot of games. I thought it could be because of drivers, so i updated everything and still crashin.

It's not a problem about my PC, the cpu and gpu stays under 45° and everything works, i have a gtx 970 i5 4690 and x2 corsair ddr3 1600 4gb (mb gigabyte ga z97 d3h) and 650w.

Do you guys know what could be the problem? It s just with fallout 4 so i think it could be related just with a game isssue and not with my pc.

Random computer shutdowns, there is definitely an underline hardware issue, since Fallout is lacking a few optimizations as of yet, it might be soliciting your hardware a bit more than witcher 3 in some areas. But then again it could come from various sources. How old is your power supply ? could also be memory, are you shure your gpu is at 45 after 1 or 2 hours gaming ?

It's actually weird that your cpu/gpu stays at 45 degress when the games are working.

The PC just restarts or there is something hapenning before the restart? Like PC getting louder or maybe locking-up/slowdown?

Hey SebSama!

You can get further information about what was happening when your computer shuts down if you go into your msinfo report and check out the error logs.
