"The Battle of Bunker Hill" Quest will not trigger

Post » Fri Nov 27, 2015 8:15 pm

I have just finished the previous quest.

I have talked to the courser and visited my dorm room, however, when I go back and visit Father, he simply says his dialogue of when he doesn't have a quest to give you, and keeps moving around, sitting in different chairs in his office. I have tried rebooting the game, reloading the save file (quicksaving and re-loading). Is there anyone else experiencing this issue? It is a story quest as well, so it is really bothering me that I can not continue.

You can try putting setstage inst302 0 into the console

I just tried that. Thank you for your input, unfortunately that does not work. The quest does not appear in my quest menu on the Pip-Boy.

I have just tried setstage inst302 10, and unfortunately it still does not work.

I have completed the previous quest, and been to and looted my dorm. The Courser tells me to go talk to Father, and the previous quest is currently in the "Completed" section of my Pip-Boy. However, when I do go talk to Father, he says normal dialogue, and my crosshair does not disappear to indicate he is giving a quest.

That's really odd dude, I'm not sure why you're having this. I'd put it in the bug report thread. I managed to trigger the quest on a brand new save with that command.

Best of luck.

Is it possible that there's any other way to manually trigger the quest to start via console? As I said, it's not appearing in my pip boy.
