Ghoul Armor

Post » Sat Nov 28, 2015 3:35 am

So in the fallout 3 and NV apparently no one got ghoulified with their different armor, except a few NCR troops and vault dwellers. What I would love to see is someone that has gone feral with different armor on. So in fallout 4 I hope to see say, a feral talon company ghoul with the armor on and stuff. If Bethesda adds this it could make fighting ghouls more interesting, and maybe even power armor feral ghouls  ( though I doubt it)

I like this idea as well, but Purists are a bit riled by new ghouls. (something to do with lore and actually becomeing one)

But surely there must have been some power armor wearing fellows that since zombied out from when the bombs fell. Also man once bits stared falling off me I would be thinking power armor ya thats it. heh

Power armor ghouls sounds both interesting and terrible.

Perhaps a unique encounter of a power armored ghoul.... Who, after sustaining damage from an enemy... let's say a death claw, radiation began to seep into the armor... slowly but steadily, he or she became a ghoul.... they then, lost their mind when they couldn't get out of the power armor. It could be an encounter found in the glowing sea, which is supposed to be filled with radiation.

I was saying maybe to power armor, and yes it would be terrible to have to encounter a power armored ghoul, but interesting at the same time. Especially with the armor layering meaning you could find a ghoul in power armor that's all rusted and is a simple husk thanks to extended periods of no maintenance.

Interesting, I could imagine you getting a special power armor upgrade or a unique weapon maybe?

Its not really counted I guess but in tactics i think ghouls had a problem wearing armor cause it really rubbed them wrong. (knocking bits off). I am pretty sure you could get ghoul specific made armor (from one of the special encounter merchants) or the advanced rad suit. They could wear. Would not mind seeing there own faction type armor making a return.

Played FO3 today and staring at Gob I just couldn't get over how wearing clothes must feel, and wondering if clothes, or armour would ever just stick to their skin/bits and just peel it off on removal or.. wondering what the deal is there. Do they ever get to a point where they skin just kind of calcifies or hardens and isn't as tender, or weak as it looks, or are they just extra squishy and peely forever?

Considering you need special training for power armor, I'd imagine feral ghouls tearing themselves to bits if they wore power armor.

Roamers are wearing combat armor and Reavers wear metal armor.

I think Ghoul skin is more like a dry-aged steak, which develops this sort of funky, leathery crust on the outside.

But apart from that there are no other armors, because I would love to see a ghoulie wearing something different, like leather armor or say, roving trader outfit.

You have got a point, considering even if the ghoul was a BOS member, they would still use lose the ability to operate power armor correctly. Even so it would be pretty cool though.

Imagine being a feral ghoul forever trapped inside of a suit of power armor that ran out of juice. Would make for a funny encounter to see a suit of power armor in the distance and approach it slowly, only to hear the muffled growling from within.
