I always buy game guides for Bethesda's games ... and barely use them at all. But I just like having them. Typically I only read the character creation section. If I get hung up on a specific quest and need help, I turn to Google.

I love all the guides for Bethesda's games so I'll no doubt be picking up a FO4 guide at some point. While they aren't a required item these days with all the wiki and FAQ sites out there they are still nice to have. Plus, where do you think much of the info that goes into a wiki or FAQ comes from? Sure in time, months and years, such a source will be fully fleshed out with all the tiny details about the game, but on release and for a good time after the guides will have the most detailed info available.

Aside from that they make great collectors items and most of them are an enjoyable and amusing read in their own right. I've flipped thru sections in my well worn copy of the Morrowind GOTY guide more than a few times while "occupied", heh.
