What power armor will you wear?

Post » Fri Nov 27, 2015 9:33 pm

Never wore it in any of the prior games. If I'm allowed to avoid it I won't wear it in this game either. I like playing the agile mid to long range gunner.

The customization being what it is, probably a hodge podge. A little of this, a little of that, whatever helmet I like better...

I know in the E3 presentation I saw an Enclave helmet option, on top of a standard Power Armor model helmet.

I will be using the cleanest shiniest version of T-51b that I can find. I will be role playing as a sort of mechanized fire support role for whatever faction I end up joining.

Don't think I'd personally be a fan of mixing and matching my PA, though. Maybe if I was playing someone non-Enclave and wanted to go for a specific look.

one that looks like it weighs as much as a small planet and makes deathclaws seem cuddly so t 50 hopefully its as imposing as it was in fallout 1 and 2. also if i can im gonna cover it in hides bones spikes and tribal markings you know just to upgrade that huge "do not [censored] with sign" to neon.

Definitely going to rock the classic Enclave power armor.

The best one available (I am not one of the people who wear stuff that's not the best - unless the best stuff is pink or something (meaning: really really ugly!))...but if it's a contest of looks alone? - Then it's probably going to be the Enclave armor (I hope to never have to wear something like that ugly tribal power armor...who replaces part of an awesome armor with a skull? (even more: an ugly skull -.-))...hopefully we can get one with Tesla-Functionality  (and hopefully it really does what it's supposed to this time: Give us a bonus to energy weapons!)

greetings LAX

ps: I hope the armor now gives us additional features - like it should - as well, I mean come on, we don't have armor this advanced but our soldiers have night-vision gear, thermal-optics etc. etc. (In Fallout it's rather strange that these functions aren't included in such an armor!)...oh, and I'd love a power armor that talks (like the Stealth-Suit MK.II) and gives you med-x and stims :)

I'll certainly collect Power Armor and components, but, I doubt I'll use Power Armor at all, unless it's absolutely necessary and unavoidable.

What will I wear instead?

I'm usually so sneaky, I can't even find myself, even if I meditate ... so, anything that helps me to be even more sneaky. :)

Since there is only 1 set of Prototype Medic Armor and it is in the Capital Wasteland i doubt you will get talking/drug-administering power armor in FO4

It looks like the T-60 is all rusted whereas the T-60b isn't, I find that interesting.

Consider the Shi in Fallout 2.

They were descendants of Chinese submariners that landed in SanFrancisco after the bombs fell and made a home there.

They had advanced technology and scientific understanding enough to build and upgrade Power Armor that the BoS could not.

We've seen a Chinese Submarine in the concept art. Perhaps there may be friendly technologically advanced Chinese in Boston?

... or, someone snappy at the Institute might mebbe have the technical wizardry to whip something up?

additionally, just like all Science Fiction, the writers/creators quite often make stuff up, and tack on explanations ranging in plausibility afterwards, or, sometimes with no explanation at all.

:)

I'll probably use the T-60 helmet with a mix of parts from the other sets.
