Pip-boy edition of game

Post » Sat Nov 28, 2015 5:34 am

I was late to the party trying to order the pip-boy edition for PC. I've been trying to find any articles or posts that mention if there will be a second batch for sale or if perhaps the pip-boy itself will be available through a 3rd party vendor or anything besides $375.00 US on eBay. Would it be possible to get word from someone at Bethesda on this?

Regards,

Tim

Despite this being their official forums, this isn't really the place to go to get an answer from Bethesda. They very rarely respond to posts on here, you would be better off to email them directly to get an official answer. Mostly these forums are just a den for the near psychotic ravings of an overly passionate community of Bethesda fans.

^

Seriously, they said it.

(Also, they did have a second batch. Three even. They literally exhausted all of the Pip-Boy Edition supplies.)

I know this is a bit off topic but you ever been to the "State of Decay" forums? The community is totally different from this one. On the Bethesda one it almost seems every man for themselves and any mention that the beloved game may not be perfect, it is often confronted with the whole "Just [censored] deal with it" attuide.

Where on State of Decay forums everyone is very well behaved, sticks together, well manner and caring.

I am not saying there isn't caring people on this forum, but if you where active on State Of Decay forum and went to this one, you'd feel out of place. Perhaps because the developers are very active on the SoD forums that people are well behaved and acts as a community.

Or maybe there isn't a difference and I am just seeing something that isn't there lol

There was not only a second batch but a third and pretty close to a fourth.

The Gamestop I ordered from had like 3 re-stocks. Beth site had like 2-3, BestBuy had like 2.

At this point there are no more being produced and entering circulation. The only ones going around (potentially) are the ones people cancel their orders on, or sell through Ebay.

It is also more than likely that the reason they named this the pip-boy edition is because they'll have something cheaper to make and offer for a collector's edition version (making of disc and an artbook of concept art or something probably). At least that's my hope. So you could always just wait and see.

Unless a few retailers are holding some for a promotional launch, there sold out. Sorry you waited to long, most retailers restocked at least twice, Some even 3. Only other way is if a few orders get canceled or not picked up by the customers.
