Dear Bethesda,

While roaming through the wasteland for many hours *currently lvl 43* i play a stealthy sniper character. but as of recent, every time i go into stealth i get to see this:

(i apologize for broken links but i dont understand the forums or why i cna;t post links)

as you can see my whole vision is ruined with what is supposed to be my head. i only used the console command to change FoV to 90 and never touched it since. i thought it might be a hair/facial bug but chaingin my hairstyle doesnt fix it. reloading my savegame doesnt help and starting a new game doesnt help either. i get the same bug/glitch over and over again. as a result i no longer enjoy this game as my immerison is ruined untill this is fixed.

what was your FOV before changing?

If you don't remember, just delete the Fallout4.ini file and restart your game.

There are actually two lines in there:

fDefaultWorldFOV= FOV Value

fDefault1stPersonFOV= FOV Value

Have you recently changed any hardware or software on your computer?

You can try reinstalling the graphics driver.

I havent changed anything between gettign the game and paying, i have a high end gaming/graphical processing pc and the drivers havent changed, it is just something that happened randomly, i didnt die or performed an action other than pressing left CTRL for sneak and this red blob of pixels appeared in my screen and won't go away since.

edit:

allso i tried reinstalling the game reverting to minimum setting etc, nothing seems to work. i allso tried Verifying the game for issues via steam.

What about equipping a new piece of armor?

allready tried that aswell,from completely naked to random sets of armor equipment. it's quite frustrating

Try the graphics driver route, also... could you link the save.

how do i upload my savefile to you?

i tried new drivers and reverting them, doesnt help sadly

Upload to Dropbox and PM me the link. Google Drive is also an option.

Its a skeletal misalignment glitch. Or whatever you want to call it. Your skeleton is not aligned with your skin so it clips when you crouch.

To fix, type the following in the console

player.unequipallplayer.recycleactor

You'll then have to reequip all armor and weapons.

edit: You can also just remove the 'skeleton'

player.removeitem 001E22E5

but that might make certain death cams looks weird.

ok TY, i just done the first 2 commandlines, but now when i try to acces my pipboy it's nopt equipped so now i can't re-equip my gear. is there a command for that?
