Perception problem

Post » Fri Nov 27, 2015 11:03 pm

Hi,

At the begining i want to apologize for my [censored]y english :)

I have a problem with Perception and showing enemies on my compas at the bottom of the screen.

I remember that in fallout 3 i have no problem with this nad i could see enemies on my map (radar/ cpmpas or whatever) even when they was far away from me.

Now I cant see this god dammed red dots on my compas even when im 5 meters from enemie....

My perception is on lvl 7 and this red dots showing up only when emenies will hear me or see me.

Its normal or what?!

with Regards

serengerd

Seems they only show up if you are actively in combat. I've slowed my play down and sneak more, take my time, and use rifles to get a few shots off using visual scanning before switching to a pistol or shotgun.

You'd think they'd have a perk to allow you to detect enemies even when outside of combat (possibly with a small decrease in range compared to when in combat so some surprises can still happen).

In Fallout 3 there wasn't such a problem.

In my opinion this is wrong change tactic of the game.

Is there some cheat wich can help me? :D

This has been removed from the game. Now enemies only show up on the compass if they are at least alert (caution if sneaking). The best alternative is to hit q to scan for enemies in the vicinity, but I don't know what the range of this is. There are also power armor mods that track enemies. Finally you can check with your scope every so often.

Now if you want to snipe someone, you actually have to spot them I guess.
