OK, Spoilers ahead (not big ones).

So I started the quest Call to Arms [BoS101] and I met up with paladin Danse at ArcJet. We make it to the first elevator shaft that, from what I can tell, he's supposed to smash open. So, no big deal, I toggle clipping, move down a floor, moveto player, update quest stage. Everything's copacetic, for a while... We get down to the Engine core, synths everywhere. I've got an idea! I'll light the fuse on that engine! Danse follows me... which, from what I've read, is not supposed to happen. I press the button... I get steam and a buzzer sound, and nothing else. I find a terminal, it says everything is on auxilliary power. I kill the synths, the elevator doesn't work. I toggle clipping again. Kill the synths upstairs, grab the quest item, and leave. I make it back to the police station, but... where's Danse? The other two BoS members are talking to him, but he's not there... I moveto player again. O.K... there he is... he finishes talking, looks at me, finishes up the quest, gives me the xp, the reward, the caps, the directives for the next quest, then he runs off. Sure, busy man. Only, later, I want to take Dogmeat out for a spin. Dogmeat runs off... What? I follow him and follow him and he leads me to... Paladin Danse in the engine core of ArcJet, standing around near the button that didn't start the engine. He's idle, too; as in, he walks around, and stuff. He'll talk to me and say that the others have work for me and all. He even gave me the Lost Patrol quest, and I turned it in to him. BUT HE WON'T LEAVE THAT SPOT! And neither will my companions. Any companion I ask to follow me has run straight to him. It's frustrating. I like companions. So I tried a number of console commands, disable/enable, kill/resurect, restart the quest, play with actor values, global values, recycleactor... Still stuck there...

Please, does anyone know how this can be fixed?
