The Airships! The Blimps! I think they mean something!

Post » Fri Nov 27, 2015 6:19 pm

I was thinking something like that as well. I mean, do we actually see any Brotherhood insignias or anything of that sort on the airship? It's been a while since I watched the trailer, but I don't recall anything of the sort.

I personally think it could belong to the Institute. They can build life-like androids, so I don't think an airship is out of their league.

There is a BOS symbol on the airship, there is a enhanced picture confirming it on another topic......it seems to be white with large cog on the right (the reverse of the West Coast symbol), the only problem using this as identification is that while Lyons' BOS used it in Fallout 3, MWBOS also used it in Tactics althrough they also used the original layout as well and were usually coloured blue.

So its BOS, but the symbol could be used to make a case for either Lyons' or MIdWestern BOS.

Of course there is also the name of the airship being King Arthur's ship and a certain Arthur Maxson being part of Lyons' BOS as well.

Oh really? I wasn't aware of that. If that's the case, it's almost certainly Brotherhood-related.

Would you happen to have the link to that thread by chance? I'd love to take a look at it myself.

*Edit, I found it myself. Yeah, definitely a Brotherhood symbol.

I'll have to look back through the Forum, it has been discussed on a lot of threads.....

Edit: Anyway here is a close up of the symbol and name of the airship, the symbol is partly covered by flames but is still visible as BOS.

and the whole picture.....click on 'see full size image' for unsurprisingly a larger image. :D

They're zeppelins, not blimps. Blimps don't move around like that.

Your initial OP is where a lot of us started as well...

Airship = MidWestern BOS

This may well turn out to be correct or Lyons' BOS may have built one in between Fallout 3 & 4, since apparently they are both supposed to be set in the same year of 2277 (but mostly after 3) it makes it harder to see how it could be Lyons' BOS. But the inverted white BOS Symbol (but MWBOS also use the inverted symbol), the Initates wearing power armor, the name of the ship being linked to King Arthur and maybe Arthur Maxson all point to Lyons' BOS.

So really the answer is too little info so far and some of it seems to contradict itself.

Yep, its all theory based on the present lore........so while we can say the BOS faction (we know about) in Fallout 4 uses the same white inverted BOS Symbol that Lyons' BOS uses we can say its 100% certain that it is Lyons' BOS.
