I try to avoid any official 'number conspiracy' systems to be honest, as I don't like to be tied down by pre-defined interpretations. What I do is I look for patterns in stuff, and I usually find subtle connections in most anything if I look long enough.

But bringing this back to the intended subject matter, I'm sure after QuakeCon there will be a ton more theories and predictions being put out there from many forum users. And we should hopefully have at least one or two confirmed details to tie up some of the current ideas in the pipeline.
