I am intrested in the possible connection of Fallout 4 with Fallout Shelter mini game.
I saw in the preview that we get the ability to rebuild parts of the new Fallout world and its possible to setup trade between these locations, construct defences, etc etc.
As we are possibley able to be an overseer in this aspect of these potential community's.
Its intriguing the possible link that fallout 4 has to the Fallout Shelter mini game. It could mean things becomes more interesting, are we getting the ability to manage mini community's within the Fallout 4 world.
That could be a very much like a big brother to Fallout Shelter where we source parts to build power supply's water purification etc. Grow food or in some way produce food, hunt for weapons and armour to help inhabitants of our villages defend themselves.
Aspects of this may have been talked about and if anyone can point me to there threads...
So my question is for any readers of this. Is there any more info on this topic, about any possible parallels between the 2 games or at least more info on fallout 4 game machanics in this area.
If that doesn't exist then anyone else's throughts on the subject, about how it may work what they would like to be able to do.
As far as I can see this is a take it or leave it side to the game, where you can possibly be a Mayor, or overseer or just a loan surviver that builds houses for themselves in existing towns.
Are these pre built community's you can help? or just raid? is there a system to become mayor in these community's? So you start up as being invited to join the community, but you can build up your status within the community via quests or similar, to becoming their leader.
Do we get the ability to sent residents out into the wastes to find stuff like we can in fallout shelter?
Can we train them maybe in a simlar way they we do in fallout 4?
The difference could be we pick what stats they level in like we do in fallout shelter, so they are better at the job we give them. or a more intuitive system, that makes them better at the job we give them to do.
I have a great interest in this possible aspect of fallout 4, any info and suggestions around this welcome.
