Graphics vs Gameplay

Unfortunately most people who complain about graphics could care less about style. For example when Wind Waker (Zelda game) came out so many people were whining about it's graphics, but I think it looks great because while it may not have had the greatest graphics it had an amazing style.

Fallout 4 has it's own sense of style, but unless it doesn't try anything near realistic most games can't get by on the style argument. It looks great to me, but some people have to have to have games that push their graphics cards to the limit and whine about anything less.

It looks better than the previous game, looks fun, and has improved animations. It's good enough for me.

To me Fallout 4 looks awesome and is right up there with Witcher 3.

Lighting and animation. If a game nails those two things, even fairly well, I have no other issues. Audio design can be a big part of it too, but for most games I keep in mind when they were made and with what resources when judging. I have no issues with Fallout 4, looks great to me.

I do this too. I can look at two games side by side, and can see that one demands 350% the resources that the other one does, and yet it might not be half the game that the other one is, and or with far less scope to it; and so it's a sliding scale. The original https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L_-Bd8qVdWw andhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i6em4GRiRY0 games were phenomenal ~to look at, and demanded expensive custom hardware, but as games they paled to even https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uIhyjrXVhzg.
