Fallout Refuses to Load

Post » Sat Nov 28, 2015 3:00 am

So, this is a new issue for me. I got a new video card today. I got an EVGA GeForce GTX 980 and installed it, installed and updated the drivers, and everything is running smoothly up until I try to play Fallout 4.

I start the game, get to the start screen, but when I hit play, load, or continue the game just loads forever. On existing saves the nifty in-game model doesn't show up. (I have 50 hours in the game)

I have verified the game cache, deleted my /documents/my games/ fallout 4 folder, uninstalled and re-installed the game, restarted my computer, updated my drivers, everything. I really do not know what is causing my game to not load at this point. I belive it's something with my video card but I'm really not sure. Any help is appreciated, I just want to play my game.
