I'm sure I can't be the only person who noticed how odd the race selection is especially for the males? The Asian and Hispanic defaults look pretty much the same as the Caucasian. Only with the African American defaults is there a clear stark difference. I really don't understand the logic behind this as it suggests that there really isn't much physical difference between the races except when it comes to African Americans.

And I am deeply offended that the options do not take into consideration the differences between the various ethnicities within those general groups. Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaah. It is a video game that uses stylized appearances for humans that are, and are not, based wholly on reality. To reach the conclusion that "it suggests there isn't much physical difference" in the real world means you should be posting in a Dr. Phil forum (in order to explore your own issues) rather than here.

Well that much is clear as far as the representation of Asians and Hispanics goes however If it was Bethesda's intention to portray fictional "stylized" versions of Asians, Caucasians and Hispanics to the point that there was little or no discernible difference between these groups, why not do the same for African Americans? Being a thoughtful and critical person by pointing out certain things such as the inaccuracies of the representation of these different ethnic groups doesn't mean a person has "issues" it just might mean they're being a rationalist observer. In any case this particularly strange and erroneous aspect of the game hasn't caused me to enjoy it any less.
