i marched into valut 106 and closed the valut door for "security" reason, when i tried to get out of it after killing some insane survivors for selfdefense, it says the vault door should be activated elsewhere...but i'd combed every corner and still found nothing , now i understand why ppl in vault 106 went insane, cos they can't get out.

Lol last time I checked my character was in vault 106 to...I do hope I can get out of there

If you are on the PC, you can open the console (hit ~) and type in tcl to turn collisions off. Then you just walk right through the vault door. That's what I did when I got stuck.

If you aren't on the PC, then the only thing I can think of is to reload a previous save before you closed the vault door. I don't think there's a way to open it from the inside.

Turn on your pip boy light face the door look left the console should be in the little alcove looking through a glass window or alternatively on the 2foot tall platform to the left of the door, then again some vaults have a console opposite the door on a short flight of steps........
