Firstly, my specs :

- i5-4460

- R9 380 GAMING (MSI) 2Gb

- 8 Gb RAM

- Windows 10

Drivers up to the latest version.

I don't have any mods and I never touched anything that could have changed the game

I'm at Salem, northeast of the map, and when I get out of the old man's house, I've got 2 minutes before freezing. My screen go back to desktop with the game still playing on the the background and my mouse can only move on the bottom taskbar. The only way to close the game is to reboot the system. And I did it 5 times without result...

But when I restarted an old savegame, no freeze for the 5 min I played. So I relaunched my save in Salem and instantly travel to another point (Sanctuary). Still no freeze after 5 min, maybe it was just the place... Then I restart a new game and, after 20 min without freezing, I tought the bug was over. But when I get over the hill of the vault => FREEEEEZE !

I've already asked to Bethesda Support but, well, when you launch a AAA game without being able to make a stable one, I suppose that you can't answer all questions from disappointed fans...

So what should I do to be able to play again ?

You might try to examine Windows error log files relating to hardware, etc.

Something useful might show up.

Based on your description, and the fact you state you had to restart the machine ... it sort of points at hardware.

The other factors could have more to do with a combination of OS and video drivers.

It seems from across the web AMD GPUs are having more issues with this title than the evil empire is. Shrug, might be that.

It could be something as daft as some aftermarket AV package messing with you, or some other software in background.....

I know you don't want to hear how stable it is for others or for me, so ... I won't go into that.
