I'm really unsure of how to phrase this, but, my game keeps crashing randomly. I'm a little over 25 hours in fallout 4 and it's done this multiple times. Yes, my computer meets the requirements for the game. What happens is I'll be walking or in the middle of battle the game will completely freeze. By freeze I mean a complete computer freeze. I have to hard reset or completely shut my computer off too remain playing on my rig. I'm not sure if this is normal or not because this is my first time getting a Bethesda game on launch and I know they're known for buggy games right when it launches. I was just posting this to see if there is anything I can do to fix this or if this is an issue that can only be resolved with a patch or an update.

Anyone out there?

I have a similar issue. I launch fine, load my last QS, it begins to load...then crash. Sometimes I get a window telling me of the crash, mostly I don't. I've rolled back and rolled forward my drivers for my dual 970s (of course, FO4 doesn't support SLI yet).

Sigh, it would be wonderful if it just the game crashed, but it crashes my whole computer instead.

Check that you aren't overheating. I had the exact same thing, entire system crash and all. Fixed it by manually controlling my GPU's fan speed, and haven't had a crash since.

alright, i have no idea how to do that lol so im downloading nividia system monitor. Im using a EVGA GTX 960 FTW not sure if that matters
