Ha! That was the funniest glitch ever. Apart from Donkey Woman and "God made me wrong please kill me Lion" from Read Dead Redemption.

Instead of fixing what you perceive as "glitches" Bethesda decided it would be easier to write these in as canon. Most of these are simply explained with the following phrase: "It was the aliens."

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ITOrKb5HP6s has become a feature for all humanoids in Boston. The aliens saw that the number one cause of death in D.C. was headshots and thought they would aid humanity by evolving them in the only natural way to avoid headshots in the future...

Bugs can be fixed. I plan on buying the game on day one regardless.
I just hope they remember to turn compiler optimizations on this time. They didn't do it for FO3 or FNV. They finally did it for Skyrim in one of the patches and it made a 10-20 FPS difference for me depending on location. Though the PC I have now will run all those games at 60 FPS without blinking. But still.

There will be a bunch of people complaining and acting as if the game is broken, but 99% of us won't notice any issues.

We can only go on fallout 3 and skyrim really. New Vegas was not there game.

Skyrim was there last game they did. and it was buggy at times. but it was also on an older platform. we probably will see bugs of some sort. A game this big is bound to have some slip by. Even though I have played much smaller games that have way more bugs then 3 or Skyrim did.

There will be some bugs, this much is fact. My question is how will somone on PS4 with no home internet access receive the inevitable patch. Will i be able to get it on a flash drive from a freinds PC and take it home to my PS4?

I've gotten Bethesda games on launch day for consoles for years now, and I've been fine.

New Vegas WAS their engine though and with all the stuff nailed onto it the game went bonkers.

But yeah there is nothing like investigating all the bugs... errr... features of a Bethesda launch game heh. Like that weird jerk to the side that happens randomly at times in Fallout 3/New Vegas. I'm currently replaying New Vegas and I went to click on this Legion guy and the game nudged me sideways and instead of clicking the guy I ended up stealing a bottle of wine instead... this then triggered a firefight which left everyone dead by Veronica's punch while I was laughing my head off... ALL OVER A BOTTLE OF WINE I DIDN'T WANT IN THE FIRST PLACE! Sheesh!

This is why I will wait until a month after the game is released as to make sure the game breaking bugs are patched, if necessary, but more importantly, looking for good deals on buying the X1. Only game I got on its released date was Skyrim and I did not have issues with it, but did wait a little bit on Oblivion, FO3, and FO:NV (not due to bug worrying, just late on buying them).

on pc we probably going to have the occasional ctd and further on i think it will be alright , skyrim didn had game breaking bugs , not for the pc anyway so i am confident they improve their reputatuon on this one

remember this is going to be a huge game with tons and tons of content if this game comes out bug free i i will even try and lnot kill that stupid dog

I am fully expecting the Vault-Tec salesman's head to spin around, his dialogue to get corrupted, and for him to hover a foot off the ground.

Fixed.

Like the infamous Doc Mitchell-Exorcist glitch in the beginning of New Vegas? :D

I expect to see Shaun clipping through the crib so all we see is his little face sticking up and smiling.
