I have been a huge fan of the Fallout series since the first game, and was extremely disappointed that I missed out on a collectors edition this go around. With such a huge demand for the product, I would hope that Bethesda would see the potential profits to be made from another production run of collectors edition even if it required negotiating a post release production run. At the very least, how about merchandising the PIP-Boy included as a stand alone accessory>?

There's probably a less than 0% chance they'll do more pip-boy editions after release. As for selling the pip-boy separately... That would kind of remove the point of it being a collector's item. It's just how the world works. There's a reason things are called limited edition.

Just no. The point of a Collectors Edition is that it's limited supply! Now, if it was just things like "Best Buy sells this in-game weapon and armor set" and "Walmart sells a different in-game weapon and armor set", etc. etc., than I would say after a year or so, yeah, this should be made available too everyone. But the Pipboy being mass produced... just no. It's little more than a gimmick... but it's the coolest gimmick that's been offered too date.

i DO think its likely we will see a GOTY edition down the road depending on what the DLC list is for FO4. Has there been any mentions of DLCs for FO4? So maybe after all the DLCS are released there will be a Mega edition with all of them included in the one sale item.

But like has been stated in many many many many other threads, the CE is a LE. Limited.

Making more will lower both the value of the item, and the demand. If Beth makes whatever amount it would take to please you all, what guarantee do they have of selling them all when the demand dwindles? Sure, people will still buy them for a bit, but its a matter of time before they sell out again and people once again complain they missed out, or they sell too many that nobody cares, and theres no more demand for the rest of their inventory. Where's the guarantee they come out profiting from that?
