I'm sure there will be a "Classic Nuka-Cola bottles" mod.

And the Nuka Cola machine at the end of the trailer looks more like that style, actually (well, it looks like a fridge door with shelves inside it. But, still - not a modern gravity-drop machine.)

I think we'll be seeing a lot more retro looking things this time around. The Institute sounds like it probably carries on the prewar vibe considering it was described as a "sealed environment" in F3.

That it is.

I always bought the Nuka Cola machine for my Megaton home. Along with the pre-war theme. :)

Hopefully on the pre-war t.v. we can see some commercials. Maybe one where everyone in the world (except those dirty commmies!) gathers around with a Nuka Cola and sings: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yla1zxRLfl8

Me too! The only thing I didn't like about the Pre War theme for Megaton was the damn tricycle!

actualy Westinghouse patented a gravity drop machine in 1948 that they claimed could quick chill the first 12 to ice cold befor you could finish filling it. Given that we are talking about 6 oz bottles, probably not that hard to do

Looks cool to me, im just a bit confused on how the things fit in a vending machine anymore...oh well they will look great as collectibles in my home just as they did in FO3/NV

Oh, yeah, that is a fairly drastic change, I can (genuinely) see why people would be a little upset (honestly). Hopefully there will still be regular bottles in the game, maybe that was some localized pre-war competition or special edition bottle in celebration of some US victory at the time involving rockets or nukes or something.

Based on their appearance, the Nuka-Cola machines seem to function in the same manner as the classic Vendo machines. In those, the bottles were lain horizontally on a slanted shelf, and would roll into place in the window slot thingy. With the X shaped base in place, the bottles won't be rolling, but the shelf could have a greater slant to facilitate sliding, or there could be a spring to give the bottles a little extra push. If I described that poorly, this might clear things up:

Regarding the Nuka cola it pretty much looks the same as it allways has.
