I remember correctly that when i exited my power armor it disappeared.... my crosshair shows and my HUD opacity is maxed out. When im in a power armor it has the compass and all the markers shows but when i exit out to my character its not there. I can't find a solution anywhere with this same issue... anyone have any more idea?

Try that. Make a save and exit your game. Reload that save and see if you get your compass back.

If not:

1. Go to Documents/My games/Fallout4
2. Open Fallout4Prefs.ini
3. Press Ctrl+F and search for compass - it's located under [Interface]
4. Change bShowCompass=1
