Hi! So, I've been playing Fallout pretty liberally on my laptop (about 22 hours logged thus far within the last 5 days), but I can't seem to get it to work on my desktop. I did a network transfer of the files on my laptop to my desktop since my internet speed is dreadfully slow here, but whenever I launch the game on my desktop it launches in a 1280x720 resolution. Whenever I change the settings in the launcher to 1920x1080 it snaps back to 1280x720 as soon as I exit the settings menu. I have changed the Fallout4Prefs.ini file to automatically launch the game in 1920x1080, and I did make sure that I edited the file while it wasn't in read-only, but to no avail. I also tried a few other suggestions I found on the internet, such as change the graphics options in GeForce experience, but each time I try this it tells me that it does not have permission to edit these files (again, the files are not in read-only, so I cannot possibly understand why this is the case). I also tried submitting a ticket to Bethesda, and they literally just ignored it, as I have not yet gotten a response. I will try reinstalling the game if need be, but I can't see why this would be the only fix.
As a side note, I launched Fallout on my laptop yesterday, and when I tried to launch my most recent save file it froze and then bluescreened.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
