Hi,

I am in the UK and missed out on pre-ordering the Pip Boy Edition as it was only available at GAME for a limited time.

Happily, I managed to purchase it from Amazon France for a good price.

However...I want to know what will be French in this version? The box, the guide, the game, included merchandise etc? Or are the Pip-Boy Editions the same Europe wide, with multi language on everything included, as I know is sometimes the case?

Hopefully someone can provide a bit of advice.

I got one pre-ordered but they can not even confirm i can get it at Gamestop, no actual information given i was the only one that managed to get the pre-order in that store before they removed it again from the pre-order list, seems like they either made way to few pipboy editions or the Europeans got shafted yet again, i think it is more the latter that happened.

That was also the deal with earlier game titles in very limited numbers, i understand it can be a hassle to take into account the different countries restrictions and language barriers, and it would be easier to focus on country of origin of the game.

You can select the language you want in the game, at least the PC version, that might require an steam download.

Guess included material will be in french.

The pip boy itself will be the same.

Yeah, I just don't know you see. I've had special editions from mainland Europe that are exactly the same as the UK versions, then I've had one that have been completely regional specific. I'm thinking outer box, game box and perhaps the little guide will be in French. But if anyone knows for sure, please say.

I'd expect the paper perk chart to be in French, as well as the game box.

What will be more interesting is whether the Pip Boy itself has been localised as the controls are marked on the case, will it

say: - STAT - INV - DATA - MAP - RADIO - RADS - TUNE - POWER, or will it

say: - STAT - INV - DONN - CAR - RADIO - RADS - REG - PUISS, (assuming I translated those right).

The image in the Amazon France listing has an image of the English language Pip Boy case, but who knows...

Pretty sure you can change the language in Steam if you're on the PC.

I bet the Pip-boy itself will be the same everywhere. That little extra sheet thingy with the perks or whatever might be in french though, but I could be wrong, I'm not french so I don't know how Bethesda handle their french products.
