I've bought today the CD -Key for the Fallout3:Game of theYear Edition (http://www.ibay24.de) but i've got none CD.The Seller told me i must download the Game,but where?I can't find anything to activate my fallout3 code.

Uhh? AFAIK, Fallout doesn't have any serial number authentication. Not from what I can remember at least. It sounds more like you've been scammed.

There is no cd/authentication key for Fallout 3. Only a serial code for registering the game with Games For Windows LIVE.

While you can download Fallout 3, it can only be legally done from suppliers that you have purchased it from. ie: Steam or Direct to Drive.

It does sound like you've been scammed. Even if you could find a download link, it may transpire that you share that 'unique' code with fifty other people. Only one of which was able to use the code and get the game.

Isn't there also some illegality involved in selling/buying a CD-Key anyway? Especially as they can only be used once.


I'm actually struggling to find any legitimate info on the site, but the fact that it openly touts itself as selling gold for games like World Of Warcraft as well as key codes to Steam. I highly doubt the site is on the good side of legal anyway. I mean if you're getting it on Steam anyway, why the hell would you buy from the site anyway? You'd be better getting it direct from Steam.

Face to Face? You give them the money and likely get a beating?

Comfort Trade= give them your user name and password for whatever game/service you want the items on = They change the password and you're out everything.


There also doesn't seem to be anything even approaching buyer protection. They even imply that if you get banned from the game/service afterwards for accepting goods/items/gold/credit from them, then tough.

Your english is very good. We understand you, but we do not understand the site you linked to. You will need to contact the seller and find out what you are supposed to do. I do not think anyone here is familiar with this company or how they conduct their business. This is the first time I have heard of them. The seller should have made your instructions clear.

I'm sorry, but it sounds like you've been scammed. There isn't really anything we can do for you here, I'm afraid. Get your money back if you can - otherwise, the only advice I can give is to contact the authorities.
