I am sure others are having the same problem, but I couldn't find it. I have basically finished the arc-jet side quest (with BoS), retrieved the quest item, and am now going to leave. However, when I get in the elevator, everything turns dark, companions get in the lift, elevator door closes, and then nothing. Have sat there for 20 minutes and nothing. Tried to go back the way I came and it says that the door is out of order, so there is no way of getting out. I'm hoping this is getting patched? Or is there a trick out of there?

I cant recall exactly how this place looks, but you might want to try activate console, and write TCL which activates No clipping, you can then fly and pass through walls.

I'd go flying trying to find an alternate exit.

try find a door which you can activate, and go to console again, then disable TCL, by writing it a second time and hitting enter...

Then try activate door.

If you can use the console, skip tcl and use coc which will teleport you to a new cell. Just look up the ref ID of cell you want to go to.

I just wanted to say that coc worked wonders! Got me out, now I'm hoping when Bethesda patches fixed the elevator bug I can teleport back in to finish the mission.
