Hi,

Fallout 4 keeps crashing to desktop within a few seconds after I click play without any error message or anything. I can't make it past the intro movie to the main menu. Strangely enough, if I change the compatibility to Windows 7, it lasts a bit longer, but still not long enough to get me to the main menu.

My PC information:

Windows 8 Pro 64-bit

Intel Core i7 4970 3,6 GHz

8 GB RAM

AMD HD 7870 graphics card

I've already tried updating my drivers, running in windowed mode, and changing the resolution with no success.

Does anybody have any idea how to fix this?

Your help will be greatly appreciated.

I am having the same issue; I am running Windows 7 and have had no issues with the game until yesterday, when the crashes stared.
