Naming the baby : Fallout 4

I know I heard Tom Howard say Beth recorded several hundred names for baby. But we can't name him? And the gender seems set?

Your baby is named Shaun. There are no other options.

They recorded 1000 names for your character, not your son.

The several hundred names are for the Player Character, not the baby. The baby is always a boy named Shaun. What changes with the baby is the looks: the baby's features are based on the looks you gave the male and female PCs, so the baby actually looks like it's theirs, and you don't end up with a black couple and a white baby.

There will probably be a mod that can change this but it will be hard considering they actually mentioned his name several times. Might need to amend the voice pack or something.
