Where the screws at?

Post » Sun Nov 29, 2015 2:42 am

About 10 hours in, and I have stacks on stacks of every crafting material I could possibly need.

Except for screws. I have no screws.

A mountain of crafting content awaits before me, but I need screws.

Is anyone else having this problem? Does anyone have suggestions for good ways to obtain screws? I'm trying to figure out which objects to mercilessly hunt down.

Desk Fans, Hot plates, globes.

Also, 1 point in scrapper perk will be helpful.

EDIT: And toy cars and toasters (from WIKI)

You can tag missing components in the crafting menu so when you're looting anything that has that component will get a little icon.

In your Junk section, you can actually list items according to what components they have. I did so, and marked Adhesive, Aluminum, Fiberglass, Oil, and Screws this way. Ow, anytime I'm looking at an item, if it has one of these components, a magnifying glass appears next to the item's name, telling me that it has the components I'm looking for. Not as good as telling you where you can find Screws, I know, but it should make it easier to keep a steady supply of them coming in as you are adventuring.

Ah, I was wondering what tagging meant. That should help out. Thank you everyone for your responses! :)
