There is no repair system in this game for normal guns and armor. The only thing you have to repair is power armor. (Which is done via the power armor station if you park the armor in front of it)

To wait you must now be seated in a chair of some kind.

You don't repair weapons or clothing, they don't deteriorate You can only repair power armor.

Fallout evolved past meaningless activities like repair and rp nonsense like that!

Evolved past? Repair was one of the fun aspects... Looks like they've made this kind of bland...

Suggesting that repairing a gun every 20 shots is "realistic". Fact is, equipment don't deteriorate that fast.

It was neither meaningful nor rp-enhancing. It was a chore that you had to do to win. Instead, now we have a fully-fledged crafting system tied to your perks and SPECIALs. That's a lot better IMO. But people will always complain about any change, regardless if it's good or bad. People are even complaining about the power armor change, which is hilarious to me.

So far my only complaint is it looks like you can no longer zoom out in 3rd person to see your whole character.. I thought repair was cool but it's true the weapons did deteriorate too fast.

Yea was just sarcastic.

It was very rp-enhancing, for me and many more as you can easily see in reviews. So if we had repair we couldn't have a fully fledged crafting system? But yea it's Bethesda, "instead of improving it, why don't we just remove it". Being "good" or "bad" is different for each person. I've praised FO4 for what it did right, I will criticize it for what it did wrong according to my point of view. Simple as that.

The repair system was my favorite part of Fallout 3 but I still cannot help feel that it would be meaningless here.

We have a massive upgrade system that has hundreds and hundreds of weapon variables. The number of different damage amounts and ranges is crazy. Adding a repair system on top of that would probably cause the game to explode. It would also defeat the purpose of upgrading if the weapon deteriorated as well.

Now that's a decent point to make - haven't tested it myself yet so not sure if I agree. But still it's more decent than the classic "repair was annoying and troublesome it svcked, omg why you whine I don't understand".
