Little Overview

Post » Sat Nov 28, 2015 10:49 pm

Well, where should i start, i'm a huge fan of Fallout Series... what about Fallout 4...

-The map is really huge with a lot of buildings to explore and situation to overcome

-I appreciated the dialogue system and the actual voice in dialogs

-Crafting system and settlement building really great

-60 FPS 24/7 except when scoping with long range scopes when it drops to (45/30 FPS dunno why)

-Love the armor system since u can equip right/left arm separated and similar

but...

-Ok, the map it's huge but it feels kinda empty, i mean i've been wandering for like 30 hours i think and nothing really nothing caught my intrest like in previous games, this is a real disappointment since i've not touched the main story to explore a boring world.

-Really boring side quests so far, only went through them to get some XP but not for the story, really boring and non satisfying

-Dialog system it's ok but it fells kinda straight , i mean at the end the coices are always the same, yes/no/maybe/what about?

-Really hate the removal of the item degradation (why? man it was something really about survival in the wasteland)

-I feel that the skill tree it's really messed up i mean it's so confused and i can jump to 10th rank in quite a few levels (2-3 hours a game)

-I hated the fact that there are literally horde , yes horde of raiders, i mean WTF it's a [censored] army in some sites

-The power armor ... i really don't like how easilly u can get it and how it's so [censored] hard to find it's "fuel".

I can't say much about the main story cuz as i already told i didn't touched it as soon as i could.

So, what can i say, i had a feeling that this game , for now, it's been a little delusion, i had a great hope for this game but i'm not being really intrested by now, it seems that Bethesda didn't really listened to our advices, to hour hopes, and i feel like that i could easilly play Fallout 3 NV without noticing thos great differences (maybe it would be even a bit more intresting) even for the graphical side, obviously since it's an open world game it's hard for the graphic to be really high (Mod will help us obviously) but i expected something more from Textures expecially.

In the end i would give this game a 7/10 cuz it's a great game but it isn't really what i expected.

I'm curious about ur thoughts guys =)

This may well be the best Fallout I have played, I like most of the changes expecially to the shooter mecanics. I do agree with some of your points but I have some concerns.

I dont quite get the power armor issue you, you say its easy to find but hard to find fuel for? Without fuel its is gloified coat hanger. So that argument falls abit short.

Item degredation was something I hated in Fallout 3/NV. Its was so tiresome having to carry around extra weapons and gear all the time. Well, hate is a strong word, I misliked it.

And have we played a different game? I find it very satisifing to explore the Commonwealth. There is something everywhere!

I've played 12 hours and found 8 cores... Not sure where you are looking. Vendors in diamond city sell them as well!

Well i consider the fact that each of them only last for 20 minutes, so considering how much i explore i need a lot more than 8 cores , by the way, didn't get to diamond city yet, ll get there later =)

Yes, ok the power armor system i dindn't really liked but it's my personal opinion, i get the fact that there is something to explore, but nothing really intresting, just linear as for the quests don't u think?
