For some reason, I store or even take off my power armor and it says its still on, but its not..I just finished the mission to get the armor and im back in Sanctury.
I can't build anything, I go into my pipboy and it even shows me naked, but on screen it shows im still in it? What do I do here? I wanna play so bad,

It figures, I take the week off of work to play my favorite game and this crap happens, should I start over? Im 2 in a half hrs in, so I wont loose to much, just time I guess

Hold x down until you jump out (ps4) or the activate button on the other platforms.

From what I can gather go up to the power armor station/lift and long hold the x button. I'm about to try that. Very frustrating..hopefully I'll be able to collect building supplies once I'm out uf this monkey suit.

You need to go to the power armor store thing (I don't know its name) and store it there.

For PS4 users, you have to press and hold X, on xbox I think it is A. On PC I don't know.

EDIT: I stored it there, but I think you can leave it anywhere.

Its a button on xbox1.

When you remove the parts (chest arms legs etc) you only take of the shell which means you still wear the frame of the armor suit. So to solve your issue;

Hold E at any time to get out of your power armor

Alternatively walk up to a power armor station and press E to get the option to get out.

Yes, that's the ticket...long hold on x when you're at the power armor station.

I admit it took me a while to get the stuff off. Plus one piece was broken and wouldn't go on the stand until I fixed it so I had to figure that out also. TERRIBLE UI Bethesda.

Which leads to my question. How do you fix armour?

Go to the armor bench and select it. You may need that armor Perk though. I already had it so I'm not sure if it was required or not.
