I need some info

Because I want to make a story based in it :D I know that its based in a nuclear wasteland. People are mutants. There are robots. And lots of guns :D

But I need details like, what the weapons are like, what kinds of armor there are, what the towns are like, and all that jazz :D

Please reply. I am getting tired of making stories about -magic- and crap :fallout:

Ty for the help guys :D I love guns and nuclear missles and tanks and stuff like that. So I decided that I would make a story just like that. The Introlude, would be near the end of the story

suggest you play the first 2 games and look up the fallout Wiki for answers. No Mutants Allowed has good info too.

Definitely the first two games (well I haven't really played Fallout 1 that much, just sped through the main quest). Fallout 3 doesn't seem to be populated by knowledgeable NPCs, so they can't even tell you JACK (and that's my version of the bad word when I'm not sure I can say it).

Fallout Tactics also gives you an extensive background on the BOS, broader weaponry specs, and also explains some of the supermutant / BOS / robot movement through various geographical regions of the wastes.

Also if you play Fallout 2 I would really recommend grabbing the lastest version of the Fallout 2 Restoration project from no mutants allowed, it adds back in tons of content that was cut for various regions includeing several new quests and at least 2 missing areas.
