OK, I might be missing something boys and girls on the PC version, I'm confused on why when you transfer a item to your workstation as junk it doesn't automatically scrap it self? If not why NOT?

When I go to my own home after coming out of cryo; How come I can't fix the Roof and use it to live in? am I missing some items? do I need a ladder? (joke) or you don't fix the roof, but repair the ceiling..

Why can't I tell how many hits my dog has and why can't I feed him a can of dog food to heal him for that matter even cooked meat..

Why do enemies not appear on radar; does my dog spot them while we are trying to hide.. is my perception too low that I can't detect anything out there. Its mostly like a scare tactics; one minute you see nothing the next they're there..

What's with the Word world Z FAST creatures...

How bout a sitting that allow pc users, not sure you can get it on console; to see what's on my fav bar? without going to pip.

How bout a setting that slows down what my dogs messages just said, it comes so quick I missed what just happened.

Maybe all these things are a case of not being high in level or perks.

Here's some answers:

The game will automatically scrap an item if it has the resource, not before. That way if you actually didn't want to scrap a particular item, you can reclaim it from the resource/scrap bin.

You can give Dog(meat) food stims by talking to him then select 'let's trade'.

You are actually faster than most creatures, but only if you holster weapon and sprint away from it/them. Never bothered to see how long they follow. I don't use VATS so I always have plenty of AP to run and spam mines onto ground as discouragement if I have to.

As for the enemies on radar thing; Heh, yeah. New Vegas spoiled me, but now even with Per 8 baddies spot me WAY before I spot them. But that's why I carry a sniper rifle now...

Oh... 'E' key brings up favorites bar.

Buildings in town are pre-fab, meaning no repair. i guess it's to encourage player to build from scratch. But there are neat and decent metal buildings you can build, just scrap all the cars you see. I never thought of it 'til now; I bet you could build an add-on on top of what's already there, then build steps up.
