Just go into the Power Armor early in the game How do you exit it.

I don't know what system you are using but on the Xbox one you hold the A button to exit power armor

It's whatever button you used to get in it. should be whatever you use to interact with stuff.

Press and hold the button you used to get inside of it, and make sure you're not looking at something you can interact with.
