hi! thanks for reading this. i used to play a lot of FPS on PC back in the day. Now i'm in my thirties and haven't don't have a gaming PC.

my wife did buy me a PS4 (didn't come in yet). i have never played an FPS on a console. will i be okay with fallout 4? i heard it's mostly FPS now.

i did play Grand Theft Auto series on PS3 and that was fine.

i also played splatoons on wii U and i svck at aiming there.

A little OT. But the fact that you consider FO4 a FPS and not an RPG highlights exactly what is wrong with this game.

Now, to answer your question. You'll be fine. There are tons of shooters on PS4. I just wish FO4 wasn't one of them.....

The controlling of the game (moving around, aiming, interacting with the world) is still in the FPS style. Even back in Oblivion and earlier. So asking if he'd be able to play "an FPS" on a console is a valid question.

OP: Maybe. Depends on your controller-handling skills. Many people seem to enjoy FPS-style games with a controller. Personally, I've never been able to get a hang of it.

You'll be fine, I find it easier to aim with the mouse, but you got the VATS system in case you don't feel comfy aiming with the controller. Anyway, if you start to get too much damage just change the difficult.
