I just found 5 Fusion Cores inside a random ammo box. Since Fusion Cores are an ammo type, do you think investing in scrounger could lead to relatively abundant Fusion Cores?

I suspect so, but can't confirm as I haven't gotten scrounger myself. So far, the most certain way to get those cores I know of is to get the extra caps perk and just buy em from one of the merchants that carry them (most of them do)

sure youre not confusing fusion cores with fusion cells for laser guns?

as far as im aware fusion cores are vendor, or fixed locations. like in abandoned power armour or stuck in generators etc.

Nope. Full on Fusion Cores. Just in a random ammo box in Trinity Tower.

I'am not 100% sure but I bought the guide and it seem's that they are in fixed places under the "Collectible" section of each map. So I'm guessing that they wouldn't be.
