Can't take off Fallout 4 frame lock?

Post » Sat Nov 28, 2015 6:41 pm

I tried all the guides but every time I start the game it uses the games frame lock instead of nvidia adaptive vsync.

I changed the whole iPresentInterval to 0 in all the places I could, every time I boot it up it changes back to iPresentInterval-1. Anyone know what the problem is?

Make changes to your .ini file, save it, then right click on your .ini file, and select "Read Only" and hit apply. That should keep the game from modifying the file and changing the value back.

Make sure that you're changing the initialization files in your documents\my games folder, not in the Steam folder.

P.S.: You'll want to make sure you cap your FPS at 60, or you'll experience some pretty serious bugs.
