I cannot figure out how to get one of my companions I had enter a power armor to get out of it. Need help! Playing on PC.

i think its a bug.

ive seen it posted a few times.

once they enter a power armour you cant remove it.

they can take the individual bits from them. (helmet, legs etc.) but not the framework.

you can find another to the east, or north eastish, of sanctuary in a robot yard. theres no spoilers there. its just a ordinary location.

not far away at all.

once you get that armour.

everytime you stop using it and get out of it. REMOVE the fusion core from the power armours inventory.

if theres no fusion core in the armour. the npcs wont use it.

do that until its fixed.

I was able to get my companion out simply by talking to them.i had the option to tell them to get out of the power armor

Yeah that's exactly it. Talk to them and they will get out of it. I didn't actually think you could place a companion in a power suit until I saw my bro to it the Minuteman dude. Then we spent about 30 mins trying to get him out and then he talked to him and he got out of it like our characters do.
