I am looking to setup trade routes between my settlements..

how do you do it?

I have not been able to work it out?

Get Local Leader perk.

Open workshop view in one of your settlements.

Target settler you want to send out to run the supply line.

Press button prompted at bottom of screen specifying 'Supply Line' or something similar (Q on PC).

Choose settlements you want to send them to.

They change from being a 'Settler' to some other name, and then head out with a pack brahmin that appears out of nowhere. All the settlements in one supply line share a single workshop inventory for crafting purposes, and share food/water supplies.
