I think the riflemen perk is too strong compared to others

Other weapon perk that is - ignoring armor is huge and means more damage on the tough enemies - AND rifles come in both close up (shotguns) as well as long range (sniper) version - and in both fields they are the highest damage weapons too....

It just seems so much better than all the others tbh...

i am only level 9 so i havent gotten this far, but how are the late game automatic-weapons perks?
dont they have this as well?

maybe rifleman is good with a good VATS aim, but i rarely use vats so i find it a little harder to hit with single shots.

let me ask this - if i take my automatic gun and make it heavy and make it shoot single shots - does that make it move from the automatic weapons category into the rifleman perk category?

what do you use long range, a automatic rifle? naaa - a sniper or hunting type rifle... what do you use close up that has the most bang? a shotgun or an automatic gun - but both shotguns and sniper rifles are both covered by the riflemen perk 2 for 1

the receiver i think is what really matters - if its automatic its automatic but yo can turn anything into anyhintg.... in short - if you squeeze the trigger and it makes dakkadakkkadakkka its an automatic weapon

Are shotguns covered by rifleman perk? That is a bit OP if you are also trying to roll for crits in Luck tree too
